Congratulations to all brothers and sisters of India and Indians all over the world on the occasion of 67th Independence Day. Let all take an oath on this day to curb the poverty. Let all hope peace prevail internally and along the boarders. Let all fight against the curroption which is growing day by day.Let all hope incidents like Delhi Bus Rape will not occur in the future. Let all hope communal harmony prevail among the religions. Terrorist groups like IM trying to disturb peace internally and terror groups like Lashker -e- Toyyaba operating from Pakistan disturbing the peace in boarders as well as internally. So we have to alert to fight with all these enimies.

ten things you don't knoe about hydro Power
10. Hydropower is one of the oldest power sources on the planet, generating
power when flowing water spins a wheel or turbine. It was used by farmers as
far back as ancient Greece for mechanical tasks like grinding grain. Hydropower
is also a renewable energy source and produces no air pollution or toxic
byproducts. Learn more about the history of hydropower.
9. When most people think of hydropower, they
imagine the Hoover Dam -- a huge facility storing the power of an entire river
behind its walls -- but hydropower facilities can be tiny too, taking advantage
of water flows in municipal water facilities or irrigation ditches. They can
even be “dam-less,” with diversions or run-of-river facilities channeling part of a stream
through a powerhouse before the water rejoins the main river.
8. Niagara Falls was the site of the country’s
first hydroelectric generating facility -- built in 1881 when Charles Brush
connected a generator to turbines powered by the falls and used the electricity
to power nighttime lighting for visiting tourists. America’s first commercial hydropower facility was built in 1882 in Appleton, Wisconsin --
powering lighting for a paper mill and multiple homes.
7. Every state uses hydropower for
electricity, and some states use a lot of it. About 66 percent of Washington
State’s electricity comes from hydropower. America’s hydropower industry has
more than 100 gigawatts of hydropower capacity and employs an estimated
200,000-300,000 people.
6. Hydropower costs less than most energy
sources. States that get the majority of their electricity from hydropower,
like Idaho, Washington, and Oregon, have energy bills that are lower than the
rest of the country.
5. Over the last decade, hydroelectricity
provided about seven percent of the electricity generated in the United States
and 63 percent of the electricity from all renewable sources, finds the Energy Information Administration.
4. Some hydropower facilities can quickly go
from zero power to maximum output, making them ideal for meeting sudden changes
in demand for electricity. Because hydropower plants can dispatch power to the
grid immediately, they provide essential back-up power during major electricity
disruptions such as the 2003 blackout that affected the northeastern states and southern Canada. Read a recent report about other services hydropower can
provide to the electric grid.
3. Another type of hydropower called pumped storage works like a battery, storing the electricity generated by
other power sources like solar, wind, and nuclear for later use. It stores
energy by pumping water uphill to a reservoir at higher elevation from a second
reservoir at a lower elevation. When the power is needed, the water is released
and turns a turbine, generating electricity.
2. Devices at dams can help fish and other
wildlife move freely around dams and between sections of rivers. Fish ladders and fish elevators are just some of the techniques used to help
fish migrate.
1. Dams are built for a number of uses in
addition to producing electricity, such as irrigation, shipping and navigation,
flood control or to create reservoirs for recreational activities. In fact,
only 3 percent of the nation’s 80,000 dams currently generate power. An Energy
Department-funded study found that 12 GW of hydroelectric generating
capacity could be added to existing dams around the country. View the full report and the interactive map on the energy potential of non-powered dams.
Congrats to Telangana People
Advance congratulations to the Telangana People.Their long pending aspiration is realizing soon. Thanks to Congress Party for taking decision in favour of Telangana State. With this all political formalities are over. Thanks to the U.P.A allies for supporting Telangana State. Thanks to the K..C.R. and T.R.S.Party,champion of Telangana .Thanks to the J.A.C. led by Kodandaram. Thanks to the all Telangana employees participated in Sakalajanula Samme. Thanks to the all other Political Parties in the state supporting Telangana State. Thanks to the Y.S Jagan and his Party for being emerged as strong alternative to the Congress,B.J.P.&T.D.P.in Seemandra .Now Ball is in the court of Central Governament. Let us hope Cental Governament will intiate legal and constitutional measures soon to form Telangana State and let us hope once again that Congress will not back track on its decision and this will not be a political gimmick .Now what led the Congress Party to take a decision in favour of Telangana State. Is it Y.S Jagan factor in the Seemandra region? or is it diminishing hope of getting seats in next general elections to gain power at central. I think both and many other reasons may led the Congress Party to take favourable decision. Congress will always find options to get seats and form government at central level. Anyhow it is the victory of Telangana People, especially youth who sacrified theirlives for Telangana cause, and people celebrate the occasion.

Will Congress Party take a decision on Telangana State in the next CWC meeting which will be expected to be held in the last week of this month or send it to cold storage.Any how it is a difficult decision to take, but decision has to take,it can be as soon as possible.Otherwise it will loose badly in the next Genral Elections to the Parliament and State Assembly in Telangana region,it already lost its hope of getting seats in Andhra and Rayalaseema as on today as per the news in the media.Jagan Mohan Reddy though in the Jail, attracting the people in that area. The then C.M. Rajashekar Reddy followers and fans cast vote to the Jagan Party, no doubt in that. So Congress will loose the battle in both areas,if it does not fulfill the long pending aspirations of Telangana People. Then it will be a costly affair to the Party, because it is already very weak in many parts of the country and no hopes of getting considerable seats to occupy Power. Andhra Pradesh is always with Congress Party in many times in difficult positions. So if lost in A.P.it lost Power in Central.
